Stephy Marian, 19 Maybe I'm too young to keep good love from going wrong, but tonight you're on my mind so you never know. It is better to allow our lives to speak for us rather than our words for I'm silently drawn by the stronger pull of what I truly love.

LOVE

Love is patient, love is kind
and is not jealous;
love does not brag and
is not arrogant,

Does not act unbecomingly;
it does not seek its own,
is not provoked, does not take
into account a wrong suffered,

Does not rejoice in unrighteousness,
but rejoices with the truth;

Bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails;

but if there are gifts of prophecy,
they will be done away;
if there are tongues, they will cease;
if there is knowledge, it will be done away.

But now faith, hope, love,
abide these three;
but the greatest of these is love.

The week has passed and two quotes have pretty much been occupying my mind through'out the days and thought I'd just share them with you.

"Always go through life looking at the windshield and not the rear view mirror.."
"Don't worry about food or what you are to wear, is life not more precious by far?"

Work, Carlton Challenge tomorrow and tues 9-5. Drats.

Finally I'm back to my blog. So anyway been out most of the days in the past week. Met friends for dinner and stuff. Dined at Swensens with Jas on Wed then suppered with Felicia, Calvin at Esplanade's Makansutra on friday then Ivan came on after that. Initial plan was to club but had some issues on which club to head to but nonetheless the supper was good enough, enjoyed just laughing, yacking and sharing our problems and now we're facing them with a much positive attitude though Calvin & Fel are still deciding what course to take up. (Hospitality guys!!) Idle-ed around the vicinity and ended up in Mandarin Oriental, explored and we started putting make-up on for the guys in the toilet. Funny shit, cabbed back and got home close to 3am.

Anyhoos, school's out and work's in =( the thought of starting internship tomorrow just kinda puts me in a monotonous mood. Shift work and all's gonna leave me drained and 6 months? turn off. On a lighter note, Luqman Haqeem's in town! back for 4 days and we're meeting up for dinner on tuesday. Something to look forward to in the week. Watching The Full Monty now, funny la that show!

PS. Jas, remember to look for me if I end early on tues! =)

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 28th Dec - 1st Jan

The trip was fantabulous baby! had a great time in KL with Gary, Jas and Marl. Shopped alot but I guess we ate alot I'd say. It seemed that every hour we were munching something or just randomly looking for food places for snacks and bites :) Trained to KL Sentral that took us close to 8hours and the journey was like the worst thing ever, it was jerky and just hell. Reached in the morning then headed to Macs for breakfast before heading to our hotel. We stayed at Melia Kuala Lumpur, pretty nice hotel. We wanted to check-in but the staff told us the rooms werent ready so left our bags with the concierge then went to shop abit. Got back, to our dismay the rooms they gave us werent what we reserved for, but we took it for if not we had to wait another 2hours. So, showered and slacked til night before heading for dinner. In all we had stuff like Kenny Rogers, Macs, KFC, A&W, Donuts, Nandos, Char Kway Teow, Chicken Wings, Satay, Goreng Pisang & not forgetting our ultimate favourite Johnny's Restaurant and their famous "Thai Tea" :P inside joke! So bought stuff back for my family and even my little niece, got her a top. Most memorable parts of our trip was having Gary wake us up every morning with that annoying yet funny HELLO sound, me annoying Jas & Marl by watching news every time we were in the room, when we were in Johnny's Restaurant, not forgetting the part where I fell at Masjid India and ushering the new year with great friends :)

New Year's Eve, Marl & Jas fell ill so Gary and I shopped on our own and he bought us stuff, thanks yea :) bought back KFC then at night we were at Petronas for the countdown. It rained at like 15mins before new years! So everyone started pushing and all just to get to the shelter but thank God, it stopped 5mins before 1200! the fireworks were really beautiful, it went off for like 8mins in total. Cabbed back to the hotel, oh yea talking bout cab, we met this nice taxi driver who even gave us his number in case we needed a cab or just info bout KL we could give him a ring, and yea he was hitting on Marl (Call me la... - with an accent! =P) We took a coach back for 4hours and I loved the ride! It was like really comfortable and all, so take my advise never train down to KL! Snapped loads of pics, but here are just few random ones :)

At the hotel's lobby

So anyway, I've got an internship placement in Carlton Hotel though am not really looking forward to start work for the next 6months, am just hoping time flies again. Gna go down to school tomorrow to get results for the previous modules then I'm just gonna go all out to party this coming week before I officially start work.

Adios!

As 2007 leaves...

With a blink of an eye, 2007 is already coming to an end. It's like just yesterday it was January 07 and now its December, how time flies. In life, so few come and dont go and the people you want/love/like so much? they're always the first to leave you. So anyway, the year like always has its ups and downs but I guess life's like that, one roller-coaster ride. Had my fair share of fun as well as the cries but I truly appreciate all the people I have around me from my whacky dysfunctional awesome family to those amazing friends with their never ending nonsense =) the year was one hella ride baby and I truly enjoyed my 19th birthday bash this year. Amazing, with thanks to my friends and family and I realized that I clubbed ALOT this year! Every other week I was at Clarke Quay then Jas, Sean & Subra had loads of comment about that! 2007, I'm almost done with my Bachelors, just gotta get over and done with internship.

Christmas
Well, christmas celebrations this year werent such a big affair cos' the family was still in mourning for my uncle. But still the family got totally tipsy, almost wasted. Went for mass on the eve and was at Uncle Xavier's place for Christmas, danced, boozed and stuff.

Next, I'm heading for Malaysia for New Years and am leaving tomorrow. Sadly I wont be partyin with the family at Fullerton. Shittttttttttttttt I so wanna go! But then, KL's gonna be great I hope with those bunch of fellas =) So everybody, have a Blessed New year!

Christmas gift exchange

We (Meiyu, Vivian, Marl, Jas, Gary & myself) had our very own christmas gift exchange last night and overall it was a rather enjoyable night. It was a very enjoyable yet scary roadtrip; there were 2 cars with me, Jas and Gary in one and the rest in Meiyu's car. Gary was our driver for the night and one thing's for sure, he's a very careful driver I must say however the car stalled in the middle of the road at Bugis when traffic was heavy! Thank God he was able to resolve it or else I couldnt imagine Jas and I pushing the car. Dined at Pastamania, then headed to Vivo to fetch Elaine and along the way we got lost and ended up in Marina South but eventually we made our way to Vivo by linking certain roads :) Went up to Dempsey Road and sat at Dome for drinks. Talked, crapped and the works. Next, went over to Ben & Jerry's to do the exchange and I didnt expect it but Jas got my name! She got me chocs (my all time fave!) along with a belt (screams!! I've got a thing for belts) and a really cute magnet. Thanks Jas, by the way I especially like the magnet with the words written on it cos I'd think of the times whenever I was down and out, you'd cheer me up with all kinds of words and jokes and all. Thanks again! and to Pak, I really hope the book will come in handy for you and you like it, took me sometime to actually decide what to get for you.

So see you guys on 28th, Malaysia trip! =)
