Stephy Marian, 19 Maybe I'm too young to keep good love from going wrong, but tonight you're on my mind so you never know. It is better to allow our lives to speak for us rather than our words for I'm silently drawn by the stronger pull of what I truly love.

In all honesty, the sight of how people or rather Singaporeans push and shove one another just to get into the train totally turns me off, in comparison with other cultures I've come across, ours are just totally bollocks. I was taking the train home earlier on when I encountered this sight, especially those "middle-aged aunties" who are so damn afraid there aint gonna be anymore trains. They react as if, they will never get home if they do not board that particular train and what's worst is when you cant move further yet they still push to make sure they're freaking comfortable and they'd even tell their sons or daughters "ah girl ah move in la..just push la" (read with the typical Singaporean accent) this is a kind of thing that flows in the aunties blood; 'pushing and shoving'. Especially at Outram Park station cos Chinatown is pretty nearby and thats where the majority of the Singaporean aunties are. Another point is, the train is already freaking packed yet these people still lean against the pole without allowing others to have something to grip on and there was this 'mat' looking guy who looked as if he was gonna curse and swear at those people, but it's kinda funny if you'd see the expressions on the other people faces. I'd suggest these folks go to India and look at the situation there; especially their train services and learn something, ha! I'm thinking they wouldnt even manage to get up the train. There are two types of people in this world; those who can wait and those who cant. I guess the latter defines a Singaporean.

Ever considered how we passionately believe in tolerance until someone else's moral convictions infringe on our own at which point we have no tolerance for them? oh well, lets not irritate ourselves by that, everyone has the right to be whatever they want to be. But heck, have a little patience and especially humour cos it teaches you tolerance, eventually.
